We discovered that some villagers (including the president) are breaking their existing slabs on their septic pits and cleaning them out so they can get a new latrine rather than a repair.
The Mid-Atlantic Professionals (MAP) chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is traveling to Rwanda in August-September 2008 to implement a latrine repair project. This blog will have running updates on the progress of the project.
